All aboard! For a tempting treat, a scrumptious sandwich and a thirst quenching cuppa at our famous boat cafe, Storm in a Teacup. Located on picturesque Watermouth harbour between Ilfracombe and Berrynarbor/ Combe Martin.

Rated 5 on Trip Advisor and described as ‘a Little gem of a beach cafe’, ‘Perfect’, ‘an absolute delight’ & ‘Quirky location very good coffee and cakes’.

Our Boat

‘TOJA’ is a lovingly restored and converted rescue boat from the River Severn and now renamed ‘TEACUP’! She sits on the harbour wall enjoying fabulous views of the harbour and is right in the middle of all the ‘goings-on’!

Dog Friendly

Dogs are very welcome of course, but on a lead please around the harbour and boat café. We can’t allow dogs on the boat, but we have a covered area when the weather is not so nice where they are welcome and plenty of seating outside. We have water bowls and dog treats, so they are not left out.

Finding Storm in a Teacup

We’re located at Watermouth harbour just outside Ilfracombe.

Please note; THE HARBOUR SHARES AN ENTRANCE WITH WATERMOUTH COVE WEDDING VENUE.

From the main road turn into Watermouth Cove Wedding venue, it also says Watermouth Harbour and Boat Café. Drive slowly, keeping in the left lane. Turn left just after the small car park on the left, (that is for the wedding venue). You will see the boats on trailers and our sign. Head for the boats and keep driving until you get to the harbour.

You can’t miss ‘Teacup’ and parking is along the front. When the boats are out of the water, they are on the car park! But it is still fine to park here. Please ask Harbour Master or ourselves if you are not sure. You may also park on the beach but check the tide time with us first!

THE HARBOUR CAR PARK IS COVERED BY AN ANPR SYSTEM - TWO TICKET MACHINES ON YOUR LEFT AS YOU DRIVE DOWN TO THE HARBOUR, TAKING CASH, CARD AND APP.
