About Teacup & It's Crew

Hello my name is Laura and this is our story so far...

We started coming to the harbour about eight years ago, everyone loved it here!

Truly a piece of heaven for us all. We only live 20 mins away but felt like we were on holiday.

Our older dog even decided he'd start swimming after being frightened of water all his life!

We ended up buying a trailer boat and now have a bigger fishing boat on a mooring, we love our time on the water and the family fishing competitions we have. Watermouth never disappointed
us, we've often shared a local lobster with a glass of wine watching the children row around the harbour on a good tide or if the tide was out we would simply sit on our fishing boat cooking sausages and cleaning it or sorting out fishing tackle!

When the opportunity arose to work here, how could we say no!

It’s been a lot of hard work with plenty of hurdles to jump all the way...without my husband Rob this would never have happened, he has had the vision to make the boat into what it is to a quaint Tea room with fresh home cooked food and a view that most people would die for.
Rob worked night times and weekends, in all weathers... and he even set himself on fire!
Luckily he is just fine and lives to fight another day.

With a background and passion for food, myself and crew enjoy creating great food in our tiny galley all with a very nautical theme!
We have many plans for Teacup in the future including feast nights and special events so be sure to follow our journey here and on Facebook.

Lenny's shop

Our son Lenny, who’s only 9, runs a tiny shop – when he can resist the temptation of going fishing instead!

Selling souvenirs and a small range of fishing tackle, buckets and spades, nets, crab lines and little boats for the stream.

Don’t worry, when he’s at school we will do it!!
